টিভি শোতে নারীকে নগ্ন করে শরীরের বর্ণনা!
এই হলো এখনকার সময়ে বিতর্কিত একটি টেলিভিশন শো’র শুরুর দিককার কয়েক মিনিটের বর্ণনা৷
নীরবতা কেটে গেলে শুরু হয় বসে থাকা দুই পুরুষের
ধারা বর্ণনা৷ একে একে তারা তাদের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা সম্পূর্ণ নগ্ন ঐ নারীর বিভিন্ন অঙ্গ প্রত্যঙ্গের বর্ণনা দিতে থাকেন৷ অনুষ্ঠানের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী ঐ নারীটির কথা বলার কোনো অধিকার নেই৷ সে শুধু শুনবে৷
অনেকে এটাকে ইতিহাসের সবচেয়ে যৌনবৈষম্যবাদী অনুষ্ঠান বলছেন।
ডেনমার্কের ‘ডিআর২’ নামক টেলিভিশন চ্যানেলের প্রাইম টাইমে ‘ব্লাখমান’ নামক এই অনুষ্ঠানটি প্রচারিত হচ্ছে৷ অনুষ্ঠানের নাম এসেছে বিতর্কিত এই শো’র পরিকল্পনাকারী টোমাস ব্লাখমানের নাম থেকে৷ তিনি একজন তারকা জ্যাজ মিউজিশিয়ান এবং ডেনিশ ‘এক্স-ফ্যাক্টর’ শো’র সাবেক বিচারক৷
প্রতিটি অনুষ্ঠানে ব্লাখমানের সঙ্গে থাকেন একজন অতিথি৷ এই দুজন মিলেই নগ্ন নারীর শরীরের বর্ণনা দেন৷ এখন পর্যন্ত এই শো’তে অতিথি হয়ে এসেছেন লেখক, ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনার থেকে শুরু করে যৌনতা বিষয়ক বিশেষজ্ঞ, কৌতুক অভিনেতা, এমন অনেকে৷
সমালোচনা
অনুষ্ঠানটির প্রচার শুরু হওয়ার পর থেকে সমালোচনায় মুখর হয়ে উঠেছেন দর্শক সহ ডেনমার্কের অনেকেই৷ তাঁরা এটাকে ইতিহাসের ‘সবচেয়ে যৌনবৈষম্যবাদী’ অনুষ্ঠান বলছেন৷ কারণ এর মাধ্যমে নারীকে চরম অবমাননা করা হচ্ছে বলে মনে করেন তাঁরা৷

ব্লাখমান বলেন, ‘‘একজন নারী তাঁর দেহ সম্পর্কে একজন পুরুষের কথা শুনতে চায়৷ এই অনুষ্ঠানে পুরুষরা নারীর সামনেই তার শরীর নিয়ে কথা বলে৷
অনুষ্ঠানটার উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে পর্নোগ্রাফির দিকে না গিয়ে নারীর শরীরের সৌন্দর্য নিয়ে আলোচনা করা৷”
ব্লাখমান আরও বলেন, তিনি ‘নারীদের সম্পর্কে পুরুষরা কী ভাবে, সে সম্পর্কে নারীদের চিন্তাভাবনায় পরিবর্তন আনতে চান৷’
অনুষ্ঠানে নগ্ন হওয়া এক নারী মেটে মুনকে বলেন, ‘‘এটা একটা শিল্প, এটা কোনো সস্তা দরের টিভি অনুষ্ঠান নয়৷ এই পুরুষরাতো আর আমাদের শরীর দেখে লালায়িত হচ্ছে না৷ বরং তারা নারীর শরীরকে সম্মান করছে৷”
Prime-time strip show blasted for humilating women
A PRIME-TIME TV show has caused outrage over the humiliation of naked women paraded in front of male ‘judges’.
The programme features a series of silent women who walk in to a studio and slip out of their bathrobes in front of a leering host and his guest.
The pair then openly run their eye over the nude guests - and controversially judge the women on their bodies.
In a surreal clip, host Thomas Blachman asks one: “Would you mind turning around for a moment”…because he likes bottoms.
He then makes crude comments about her breasts.

Critics have blasted the “Blachman” show, hosted by Thomas Blachman, over its sexist humiliation of women.
However Blachman, a jazz musician who claims to have created the concept, says he is a “genius”.
The bald presenter said the aim was to “stir discussion about the aesthetics of the female body without allowing the conversation to become pornographic or politically correct”.
He continued: “I told them the entire idea of the show is to let men talk about the bodies of naked women while the woman is standing right in front of them.
“The female body thirsts for words. The words of a man. And they went for it.”

The show on Denmark’s public service DR2 channel has attracted a storm of criticism since launching.
Blachman has even fled to his home in New York to escape the uproar.
He said: “Ungratefulness is the only thing that can really wear down the few geniuses who reside in our country. Remember, I am giving you something that you have never seen before. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
While DR2 channel producer Sofia Fromberg also made a staunch defence of the show.
She said: “We have a programme that reveals what men think about the female body. Quite honestly, what is wrong with that?”
